Wow coming from an Asian family, I relate to Hyuk a lot. My family always tell me “oh your should become a doctor” or some bullshit like that. But luckily my family respects my every decision on what my career is going to be. I get Hyuk a lot. He wants to do his own thing but at the same time he doesn’t want to disappoint his family. But the family gotta understands that of a person isn’t happy with their job, they aren’t gonna last long.

There’s a book called “Date me, Bryson Keller” by Kevin van Whye. He wrote the book that is so similar to to this manga. He said he took “inspiration” from it but just by reading the summary... he copied everything. This is not right. I already see some people loving this book and recommending it to others not knowing that he copied a Japanese manga. He also rated his own book 5/5 which is a red flag.
