I remember my first crush, but to keep that feelings to the extend of adulthood is wild. Especially when it was a one time meet up or something like that. I get that we don’t know if they met again as children and developed their relationship as such (doubt it since he still thinks the other kid was a girl) but this type of ‘first love’ stuff is so over dramatic and such a cliche. So many stories rely on this weird method (kinda like fantasy stories that rely on it isekai) and it’s over done. I have read many good stories where they were childhood friends, were separated, and fell in love in the future. And very few ones that didn’t have their childhood friend as their first crush. It’s not many, but again, the charm of what I’m complaint about is so over done

I think I need to read over a few of the last chapters of the previous season. Cause when this new season started homeboy was kidnapped get getting drugged by that mad human scientist (?) person who wanted revenge and now I see them cuddling and getting it on like nothing happened. At first I thought it may have been a hallucination but now I think I’m just missing some information.
I'm confused too. I thought the vampire getting tortured was Ethan's old self just much more skinnier. So did Ethan ever get tortured or harassed by that doctor, idk.
No the one getting tortured is a whole different guy, he’s the one who took care of Tristan when he was younger after killing his dad.
The guy kidnapped and tortured is not Ethan. It's the guy who took care of Tristan when he was a kid after he lost his mother. They lived together for years up until Tristan became a young adult and started to have a crush on him. But then he suddenly disappeared (got kidnapped by his ex-lover who is after Tristan) and Tristan was heartbroken. He initially crushed on Ethan because he reminded him of his first crush but of course he's now totally in love with Ethan and Ethan only^^
Ahhh, seriously, thanks for that clarification. His character seemed as if it was already added into the plot, but I just couldn’t remember. It’s been such a long time since I read this I mostly remember the main plot point but not the fine details.
I’m still confused on why the first few chapters of this have the obsessed torture and now has them back in each others arms.
I think he didn't just disappear but got k!lled in front of Tristan by evil scientist uncle. Tristan didn't save him because he was told that vampire killed his father but later he regretted for not saving him. That's why when it comes to Ethan, Tristan chose him because he didn't want to make same mistake twice.

Binge read this today and I loved the plot twist of him becoming the main love interest. I could smell it a mile away, but still enjoyed it.
For those confused, I’m not really sure what y’all confused about, but I’ll explain what I understand if that’ll help (I’m super bad with names so I’ll be using some form of their name/description)
Ok so we have 4 adult characters: Seo (red head mc), Soft Boi (poor/indebted mc), Mujin (mean gangster) and Creepy Eyes (the other guy lol).
This whole thing is supposedly in a novel that was read before by the red head guy (we do not know his real name, he can’t remember). He had now taken over the body of Seo, a really mean top character that ends up dying by the hands of Mujin. Clearly Seo doesn’t want that and he knows what happens int he sorry because he’s read the book (he has no idea how he ended up in this isekai plot). Seo’s character does a drastic 180 change and literally changes the plot line but I don’t think he’s realized that. So instead of Soft Boi falling into harder times and being more indebted to Mujin (and then falling in love with him), Soft Boi falls for Seo and Mujin also falls for Seo (if you can can his love love
