High pulse? Mf giving me high blood pressure. They had several cute moments. But every time we got 1-2 chapters of cute moment, we got 10-20 of the MC running away and trying to end things passively.
I was trying to understand from the view point of how stressful and difficult it would be to navigate the situation with a panic disorder (based of the label on the medicine bag MC had) but it still doesn’t line up. MC literally tore apart the relationship multiple times then would go “I thought you were ok. Being apart is deeply hurting me too but it’s what’s best”.
I clapped for the ML when he told MC that it wasn’t what’s best for them but what MC wanted and that the situation did deserve an apology. 56 chapters of this indecisiveness INCLUDING MC presenting and leaving the country to once again separate from ML but never revealing his presentation.
It’s old now. He hid the fact that they were once friends which still doesn’t make sense. Kept a back and forth going for literally everything. Looking at everything, MC has no regard for ML’s feelings and acts for his own self interest while expecting ML to just handle it. It’s extremely selfish and harsh towards ML who has been so supportive even while navigating MC’s insecurities.
ML being supportive shouldn’t require him to be the only one to take steps to make the relationship work. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
I swear my blood pressure is sky high from this. Maybe I’m reaching my tolerance limit for series with toxic MLs who think they can just be forgiven no matter what they do. I want to enjoy the series if it does develop a good plot. But ffs can we get some couples who treat the FL right from beginning to end? Why do they have to meet a quota of abuse and trauma just to eventually find a loving(?) relationship? （/TДT)/
I don’t feel bad if the elves get ripped a new one. She had nothing to do with any of that except being unfortunately born from a bad bloodline. Yet they found those horrid things acceptable. And the one who was supposed to be like a guardian? He can be one of the first to go to hell. I need more characters who half-ass things to be knocked out. It’s like watching a parent go “I provided the bare minimum and put up with you so you are indebted to me” after they intentionally had a child. (╬￣皿￣)凸

The siblings are practically reflections of each other so the brother might pull up with something just as great. Now Ren…….her sister might want to take a vacation IMMEDIATELY. He’s forcing himself to bottle up everything and force himself through the motions to suite her taste. She’s shoving him off whenever she wants, digging into the fact that he’s hurt, dismissing her own inner turmoil, then walking back like nothing happened.
Maybe they need some actual time apart? Like not living together or working in the same company? I just don’t see how this will be resolved and become a healthy relationship with the amount of avoidance and escapism going on with their current arrangement. ╥﹏╥

A redemption arc won’t save any of the original people surrounding MC can be saved by giving them a redemption arc. I don’t care if they all of a sudden feel bad and want to do better. Fine do better. But don’t try to hold onto the relationship with MC now that guilt has built up in your system. (︶︿︶)＝凸

I can see your point but I don’t quite think they are the same. Yes, original owner of the body did some wild stuff. A lot of those actions were reactions to the behavior done towards her. Doesn’t make it ok, but it’s totally different from someone mistreating a person in a variety of ways THEN only feeling bad after they realize the person is finally walking away. MC lashed out and caused problems yes. But she also attempted to let people know that she was hurting and needing help even if it wasn’t in the best ways. But she was ignored and eventually decided to give up. Current MC was treated the exact same way even after trying to resolve everything during what could be considered her 2nd chance.
A lot of these characters wouldn’t even have a portion of a thought to maybe think about a second chance until it finally hit home that the MC no longer wanted anything to do with them/ seek out help from them. And now that MC is a new person, there’s not really a reason to continue giving everyone more chances when she’s been literally traumatized by the events that happened even while performing good deeds. I can understand for the brother(?) but for people like the fiancé? That doesn’t really make sense.

Yeah I was referring more to the brother in this case but I think for this story forgiveness should play a factor because if anything the fiancé reactions to her were bad but she wasn’t a good person so not saying it’s justified but he had already a impression of her based off her actions. And it changed because she changed idk if that made sense.

Don’t worry, it made sense. I left a separate comment previously when there was less chapters out. I noticed the fiancé along with some of the others only changed their view of her and became concerned after they became uncomfortable due to her improved behavior. Like you said, she wasn’t always a good person which “justified” their actions in their minds. But when she started brushing things off and closing people out, it made them uncomfortable and start to feel guilty. Though I’m always kind of iffy towards stories that have characters who will go out of their way to find a reason as to why the MC is at fault just because they feel uncomfortable towards the possibility that they were in the wrong. (〜￣△￣)〜
As for the blonde guy……therapy and some socializing skills. Done let a man with trauma, unlimited resources, and nothing to lose do whatever he wants. At least he’s smart(?) though (￣∇￣")

Coming back a year later with the most recent chapters being out, I stand 10 toes down on my opinion if anything, I feel like Shin Sera didn’t deserve any of it now. It’s been a wild ride you guys (〜￣△￣)〜

I love the main character so much. She was so quick to let the fiancé know that they are going to follow through with ending things and that he was just confused by guilt and curiosity. Then my guy went through another round of reflecting and guilt almost immediately. I love how no matter how kind and close she gets to those around her who hurt her, she still draws a clear line that even if she forgives them she won’t be forgetting what they put her through.
I’m still in the fence about baby boy who lives with her. He has a valid reason for the way he interacted with her. But the “siblings” to lovers dynamic always makes me feel off.(〜￣△￣)〜
