I think many would love for a Hikari x Senpai ending but, I was rooting for Sensei since the beginning and I was still disappointed with the ending. Senpai has a lot of issues with his girlfriend and I don't think that will result to a good romantic relationship with Hikari. Even though Sensei said those things to Hikari, the way the mangaka draw Sensei's expressions shows that Sensei was also struggling on his own love. It seems like he was confused in the middle because falling 100% in love with Hikari meant that he has to let go of his current self, which he has known who he was for years after he broke up with Shuu. He was clearly pushing Hikari away because he doesn't want to lose his current self and ending up forgetting about Shuu. That's the reason for the phone call and everything in between. The mangaka did not portray this directly through monologues but Sensei's struggle was obvious to me and that Sensei himself was in denial that he loves Hikari. Hikari, on the other hand, did not just fall in love with Sensei because of sex. I would like to remind everyone that Hikari thought that Sensei was the only one who can accept him as Hikari, his true self. He realized that despite what Sensei said, Sensei still cared a lot for him and he chose to believe Sensei's actions rather than what was said. Also, in my opinion, Senpai was a figure of puppy love for Hikari, an infatuation. It really was not meant to be for them. Hikari's image about Senpai was like admiring an idol or an ideal guy. Facing a person who cared for his true self, I kind of predicted that Hikari will eventually fall for Sensei.
Just my two cents on this manga.

Just the fact that his sempai was surprised that he could be recognized "with different hair" made it obvious to me that he'd seen sensei instead and that that would be the default pairing.
I read a lot, manga and novel, so I notice the author's intentions more than I might otherwise.
Who is this woman???(╯°Д °)╯╧╧
its the chick who harassed them at the first audition they went to together (the one with the pop and the gangster director) ya know that one chick tht was stealing roles from moko-san from school yada yada
you need to start rereading again if you forget about her xD
This is the first time you see her: http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/skip_beat/mh/v05/c024/32/
Thanks for the reply guys~ i was referring to the one who pushed erika.. Or i might have misunderstood this chapter. Her bodyguards are also saying that they wanted Kyoko to get revenge to some woman. Are they referring to a new character or to Moko-san?
And just like Kyoko, I remembered her when I saw her bodyguards. Lol.
oh xD you should said "that" women rather than this because the only girl we saw is her and the woman who push her is only spoken so XD haha anyway we will find it out soon xD
You're right. :)) I realized that I should have explained myself when I read the responses. I was too overwhelmed with this chapter because they kept on referring to Erika, Moko-san, and the new character as "The Woman". My emotions just burst. ( ̄∇ ̄")
Thhis made me excited for the Momiji reauditions~ and wow, how Erika changed..(⊙…⊙ )
haha well its all good now, and she mention Moko-san because she dont want Moko-san to know or see her in that state, and Erika changed maybe because she dont want to look like her past self and change to a strong image but well not in her state right now but anyway im also so excited about the audition and Kyoko-chan looks like she will kill the woman or something xD
Maybe she tripped and did it to herself and was too prideful to correct any of them? Hmmmm
Moko san said before when she auditioning for the role of chidori, there was a woman who tried to forcefully take the part but end up failing. and maybe she auditioning for the role of momiji but Erika sama got the role instead so then she pushed her onto the streets. well whoever this woman might be, one thing for sure sure she will face kyoko in the audition soon enough.
@Dean I agree with you~
I can't wait for who is the 'girl' will be....
