I think they may have forwarded the story by a couple years, because when Wolfgang and Sys were talking to each other, Wolfgang mentioned something about how the 3rd prince told him about Sys’ and Shin’s plan a few YEARS ago. Also, when the Duke and Shin were talking, the Duke said something about how Shin had been suffering the same symptoms for YEARS from when he was out in the cold. You can also see the characters’ faces slightly change (they kinda grow longer) and mature. I’m not really sure though since it isn’t clear ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
they mention "years" here and there so maybe it's been about 2 or 3 years since Shin was made to stand outside naked and banished(?). the 5th prince is still small so it's kinda confusing, but maybe he just grows like that. and yeah, they look a bit older bc of the face shapes and body.
