Might contain some spoiler if you don't know who's behind the rumours...

I'm gonna comment again cause I realized something. The princess doesn't deserve the hate. Okay hear me out. Don't you think she's also a victim? Like imagine, your boyfriend or soon to be a fiancee was having such intimate time with someone would you let it just be? When you love him so much? And to top it all he whispered all those lovely words how he loves you and shit, I bet you'll strangle the bitch who's interfering (tho Ian is a cinnamon roll). Why are you hating her because of course she'll react like that. For her eyes Ian is the one seducing Raymond when it's the fucktard Raymond is the one who's playing with them. Just because he's the ml and handsome he'll be excused for this??? The princess might have been impulsive without knowing the truth but god who will contain their rage when you saw the person you thought you have mutual feelings with you beeing lovey dovey with another person. She had the power and riches so she's using it to protect what she think is hers by destroying Ian with rumours (tho really poor Ian receiving hate when he also just wants to be loved). Though at the later part based on what I've read through some spoiler comments that she kidnapped Ian is not excusable but dude you might hate her but at that point she's hurt too. If she's the fl bet you'll be hating Ian but she's not so....
And Ian you precious being you deserve to be happy seriously. If you end up with Raymond I guess that's it cause there's nothing I can do because that's how the author perceive to end the story, as long as you're happy all is good.

NO MATTER what your reasons are for doing it, may it be due to overflowing emotions, kidnapping someone with the thoughts of throwing them to a faraway place without spare clothes or food is WRONG. No excuses. A double negative won't make a positive result in real life. If Raymond is a coward for not speaking what his real feelings are with Ian, then so is the Princess for not confronting Raymond first about their relationship but rather took her anger and jealousy out to Ian through force and violence. LET people hate her for what she did because it really IS a wrong, inexcusable deed. You can't blame them.

Respect? For what? Sexism/stereotyping women that they shouldn't paint cause it's a man's job? Kidnapping Ian to the point that he might either die in the forest or got his body sold off if it weren't for his quick-wittedness to turn the situation around? You people make me sick for protecting her when she literally wants to erase Ian's existence.

Well,no?just respecting her suffering,we can't change the fact that she really love the ML,i'm just talking about the other side of the coin, she's a desperate person with terrible actions,i'm not excusing her for what she is going to do. And if we think, this is a story that goes through a strict era(sorry,i don't write english well,so),so the treatment given to women are more severe than what we would like to be,sadly

Umm, did you read what I typed until the end? I said that the princess was hurt but kidnapping Ian was not excusable though so I don't get what you're trying to tell me? I didn't even tell that it's correct. Chill. I wasn't really trying to push my perspective to others. I'm just simply trying to empathize with the princess to know why she did it. I just wrote this to share how I think lolol. If I mistyped something (cause I know that my sentence construction is not that good) that made you think that I was trying to justify the princess kidnapping someone I'll just clarify that I'm not. Though her spreading the rumours is something I can explain. Not everyone is capable of communicating directly to their lovers, you see. I know it pretty well cause I know someone who's like that. They act impulsively and try to push all their hatred to the other person so they can protect their selves. The princess did that in a fit of rage and because she loves Raymond that only gives her the option to direct her anger towards Ian who she thinks is trying to get in their way (It's obvious because Raymond was acting like he really loves her so how can she blame her love?). Raymond promised to marry her so she thinks Ian was trying to destroy their relationship. She's tunneling Ian, shifting every bad things to him cause Ian was like a thorn to her and Raymond relationship. People have this bad habit when things don't go well with how they thought it would be or they see something they hate they would end up tunneling someone. Not all humans have the same way to cope up so yeah. I do somehow understand that you think my point is somewhat wrong but yeah it's okay, we just have different minds lol.
Have a good day

And dude, if you're telling me that I shouldn't push my perspective to others then, please bare in mind to also let others voice their perception. You can't say that "Let people hate her for what she did" but disregard others opinion by telling them "You people make me sick". Like dude it's lowkey saying that you should not tell your opinion cause it will upset others. Why would you go around telling people let others have their opinion just because their opinions share with yours but tell people who have different views that they made you feel sick. It's like your saying that some people are allowed to voice out their mind because they're the same as yours then tell others to keep their's because yours and theirs differ. You're contradicting yourself.
Also, I don't know at which part did I typed again that made you think I was trying to shut down others. I was merely explaining what is going on her mind in my own opinion. Again about the kidnapping, I'm going to stress this out it is not justifiable to do because of what she felt.
I wasn't gonna comment this first but how you worded it out made me upset. I'm gonna say sorry in advance if this comment will offend you.
Good day again, its holidays so we should enjoy.

Fuck! I don't know how many times I've cursed reading this. God, Ian you're so precious why are you letting them hurt you? Especially that fucktard Raymond. I know he had his reasons but it doesn't justify playing your emotions. It should be take it or leave it. If you can't man it up to the person you love then just leave him be you stupid Raymond. Even if you choose revenge and want him while you hurt him cause you greedy piece of trash, if you have just a little bit of shame left you can just do it without hurting him but instead it's like you're even that proud and parade the entire shit to fuck Ian up. You already know his already emotionally unstable because of abuse but proceed to hurt him. Just wow. I know Raymond is trying his best to help but Ian needs you more to be with him, you see. Dammit I'm hurting too because I just can't stomach seeing Ian freaking hurt. Ian got the short end of the stick when the author is writing this. I know Raymond will be the end guy but AHHHHHG! Fuck it, I just can't stand that dumbass. Also, good work for the author you really riled me up. Just hoping that there won't be romance at all cause its not really worth it to let them be together cause it just looks like Ian only feel in love with Raymond because he's first one to show him kindness although that was faked at first but for Ian I guess it was an oasis in his desert like life. Okay, I need to stop because if I don't I can keep writing paragraphs of how frustrated I am right now. Just Ian be happy please

The novel, anime and the manga is highly recommended. Some people I knew also said the live action is good though haven't seen it yet. Checking this here out cause I've read at different platform for the chapters available but sadly it haven't been updated since. You'll never get sick even you tried them all. Always cracks me up
I personally love the novels to bits, as well as the animation, but didn’t care for the live action. In my opinion they made too many unnecessary changes.
It's a fine story, just not a good adaptation.
