Hahahaha called it! Lemme get my popcorn for the comment section catfight (or dogfight)
So Jooin finds Yahwi inside the apartment, on the bed sweating, crying, feverish and having a nightmare. He tries to touch him but Yahwi wakes up and pulls Jooin close, flipping their position on the bed. So Jooin goes soft and lets him hug and i guess apologize in a desperate monologue? Yahwi refuses to let go so they stay in that position until Jooin falls asleep himself. Then Yahwi kisses Jooin’s forehead.

Ugh, the artist/artstyle lets down the novel. The novel was very emotional and angsty and it didn’t render here in the manhwa. Whenever I’m getting “a bit” of the drama, the art goes to comedic route. Though to be fair, even in the novel, Pauliana is such an annoying misrepresentation of feminism/women empowerment. It was tolerable with Luciusu desperately pining.

Whew! Re-read this quickly. I could do it a little more than one hour only since i realized: there’s actually no dialogue in this story. Their convos are so empty, and the characters are still so basic when there’s only 3 of them to revolve around! The push-pull dynamic has repeated so many times, and now that this manhwa has resumed, it’s still this vague story. Imma be just a casual reader of this now, i dont feel strongly about whatever way it will turn out haha

Yes yes i understand everyone who feels like they dont want Poliana to end up with the Emperor. I mean, 3 wives, all of whom he bedded just to see who gets pregnant first would become his empress.
I have finished the novel with this sentiment and I hope it follows the same here in the manhwa how Lucius suffers from seeing Poliana like another man and plan her wedding with Frau. I think that was just the ONLY redeeming condition for me to root for them. Lucius crying, having heart pains and being avoided by Poliana.
Good thing, he also made sure Poliana felt desired when he AGGRESSIVELY courted her.
Welp, still a long way to go.

I just read the most recent chapters in the novel.
The first mention of age was only in passing when Heinley said he wished he was born 5 years earlier so he could have been a prospect for Navier’s husband before she got chosen to be crown princess.
This gives a clue that Heinley might be 5 years younger than Sovieshu. Since Sovieshu and Navier seem to be childhood friends, it’s safe to assume that Navier may be more or less 1 year younger than Sovieshu.
Now here’s the spoiler, after all the emotional trauma of pining for Navier, finding out that Navier is pregnant, that Glorym (that’s the name of the “princess” Trashta gave birth to) is not really his daughter after a VERY PUBLIC paternity test, and the aftermath damage of Trashta being a reckless empress with a massive debt to Duke Ergi and revealed slave past, SOVIESHU LOSES IT.
He gets drunk and jumps out of his bedroom window and wakes up with amnesia.
His secretaries detect that he went back to his 19 year old memories when he asked to check on Navier who he tought was still recovering from an injury from peach falling on her head. This memory was 6 years ago when he was still Crown Prince.
So, of we do the math and estimate:
Sovieshu was still crown prince at 19. Everything that’s been happening now is 6 years from that.
They might have assumed the throne when Sovieshu was 21, Navier 20, and Heinley 16.
So, their ages now at THIS storyline is Sovieshu 25, Navier 24 and Heinley 20.
WTF SOVIESHU WHY WAS HE IN A HURRY TO HAVE AN HEIR WHEN NAVIER IS STILL YOUNG AND HEALTHY. IT REALLY IS ON HIS OWN STUPIDITY TO BLAME FOR SEEKING OUT A TRASH AND DIVORCING THE PERFECT WOMAN.

The main couple has no chemistry. There I said it. I can enjoy realistic and relatively no-deep-drama love stories but this one (the first couple) is just so bland and forgettable.

I actually feel they have a lot of chemistry (opposite attract....its hard to find couples in mangas where they strictly have different personalities yet can work together, most of the time a character would have to change before they would come together but the author left the lifestyles the same)l/ which I like) and no matter how romantic she felt with her ex their relationship was too immature. But that just what I felt.
I cant understand anything from the translation. Sigh
