So with the translations being off, I’m trying to figure out if Jiang helped the mayor get the bone marrow. The earlier translator had it as the Lover of the Mayor’s son the this translation just says Mayor’s son. Also trying to figure out if Jiang was the one to hit the kid with his car.
If I am not mistaken, in the novel he used his money to help because he wanted to make a connection with the mayor.

If you mean the main story, that’s not a one shot, but I’d take more of it too.
The is painful, and not in a heartbreaking way. More in a “get on with it already.” This passive aggressive BS of “I’m gonna suffer in silence, and waste away” got old several chapters ago. It’s obvious Jiang adores him, but when you act like a door mat you get treated like one. All their problems are 50/50. They’re both to blame.
So happy to see this being translated. Definitely not cookie cutter characters. Considering the last translated work ripped your heart to pieces, hoping this one has an HEA
