I know this story has a lot of merit and I will heavily defend those merits but fuck I can’t ignore these flaws - why is pedophilia disregarded as just “love” ?? The last few chapters feels a bit too fast paced - the scene where the mum is talking to the mc about how he might be misunderstanding being gay and then 4 pages later changing her mind feels forced? People won’t change their discrimination that easily I reckon

Yeh I definitely agree with this - I feel like because she is his mother, when she saw his pain even if she has a different mindset, she didn’t want to hurt him more by pushing her thoughts. I don’t think she changed so quickly but I feel as if seeing him torn up (because of her views) would’ve been more painful than the thought of her son being gay.
