i think the main story was fine. i enjoyed the inversion of expectation, with the desperate softboy being the top and the gruff alt guy being the bottom.
i think people are allowed to be in relationships primarily bc the sex is good, if that's what they've communicated between themselves.
but i also think the side story added a little more, and it makes it pretty clear that the college guy genuinely likes the older guy.
my initial rating was 2/5, but i think, rereading other comics and cooking back to this, i think it's more a 4/5.

if anyone's been wondering why a bunch of uploaders use placeholders, this is why! this chapter was very likely uploaded by a bot from somewhere else. sometimes they add low quality chapters with broken and poor quality images, huge watermarks, whole other languages, joke chapters, and even low quality machine translation. and if you delete the bot upload, they reup the exact same thing. placeholders initially may seem inconvenient, but they're very useful.
