man... as a depression/anxiety haver this story resounds so deeply within me. its not the same but i used to avoid places and things because of my ocd so i can, to an extent, relate to youngwoo. the author really has done a great job of portraying depression and ptsd. the ptsd bit makes me especially happy since its so misunderstood by media. its nice to see good, realistic rep.

I CANT TELL AND ITS RIPPING ME TO PIECES

I don’t think they did (trying to remain optimistic here). For one, if that was really the ending I would like to think that the author would mention in the creators notes why she chose such an unconventional ending, and she didn’t. In fact, She didn’t mention the ending at all. So I’m going to assume they lived or left it up to the readers, which she didn’t express either. Also, in the creators notes, she mentioned she’s currently planning a short side story in addition to her new project..so let’s see.
the novel and this are so different... like its the same story but its not? like yisun has a personality and more of a backbone in the novel??? hes not just a piece of plain white bread???? like i expected it to be better but jeez... like im on the last chapter or two of volume 4 ahd theres really not been any proper romance unlike in this. we also see more clearly how calculative hyeon is (at least for me). GO READ IT NOW ITS SO MUCH BETTER HOLY CRAP
(its translated on a site called Crysanthemum Garden, unsure if i spelled crysanthemum right but its like the flower)
