the novel and this are so different... like its the same story but its not? like yisun has a personality and more of a backbone in the novel??? hes not just a piece of plain white bread???? like i expected it to be better but jeez... like im on the last chapter or two of volume 4 ahd theres really not been any proper romance unlike in this. we also see more clearly how calculative hyeon is (at least for me). im so sad the seasons ending but also im not as giddy waiting for the chapters to upload every sunday so its like a blessing and a curse. i hope the team for this have a good break, the artist/s especially, im in art classes and i cant fathom doing something like this in a week
man... as a depression/anxiety haver this story resounds so deeply within me. its not the same but i used to avoid places and things because of my ocd so i can, to an extent, relate to youngwoo. the author really has done a great job of portraying depression and ptsd. the ptsd bit makes me especially happy since its so misunderstood by media. its nice to see good, realistic rep.
sangwoo so accurately portrays neurodivergence and jaeyoungs acceptance of him and how he tries to understand and work with sangwoo. like the way sangwoo feels and thinks about same-sex relationships si exactly how i think and feel about other subjects. idk how to properly express my feelings avout this ohe but i just love it so so much. people are complaining about sangwoo running but like, even though its not said, hes gotta be autistic like theres no way else to read his behaviour. considering that and how he was raised how else is he meant to react? he doesnt know how to deal with any of thes and hes still trying. idk i just love them and ill defend this mahwa till death

Singular, Inflexibility of thought due to inability of the mind etc. He functions in the society only because of the rules & patterns he's functions by. And Jaeyoung in his life has broken that pattern. He cannot take another step further in hus life until he can logically reconcile with another reason/logic that can dismiss his earlier logic of understanding.
Normal people emotionally adjust with different circumstances of life but that's not how our mc (or cases like him) relate to the world.
I don't use the words beliefs or values, because these thought patterns are not motivated by love. The underlying foundation is an insurmountable logic of the rules & patterns of the world.
