Thank you for real, clean and proper update.
I sincerely hope things like yesterday's won't happen again
So in the end it was really random panels picked up from different groups on Facebook, I stumbled upon them this morning. I wish this troll kid will have their parents back in parenting real soon.

Seattle ... Joseph... Glen... Vincent... Pr Raynolds... HYUNG????
Something is bothering me here. I never thought my geographic knowledge was so fucked up... So Seattle is in Korea? Okay...

Ohhhh so they are coincidentally both Korean coincidentally both living in america coincidentally both raised Korean style? Mhhh seems too much but okay.
To answer your question: nope, never met any. I was born in Norway, live in France and never went to america either, so the chances for me to meet one are slim.

? Ok well there are a lot of Koreans in America. And I have a lot of Korean friends, as well as know a lot of Koreans cause there are a bunch here and even when they’re born and raised here, a lot of them like to stick together and speak in Korean and use honorifics when talking to each other. So it’s quite common here, you can see a bunch every day lol

? Ok well but what about this manwha? Because that's what I was talking about and whatever you say, it seems more like a translation mistake than a real thing. Nothing in the story implies they are or even one of them is Korean (since it sends "american signals" from the very first panel of the very first page) and this "hyung" just literally came out of nowhere and didn't seem to go anywhere either. Lol.

Mhhhh. Nope, whatever you say it still doesn't make sense. I'm gonna spell it out loud because you seem to misunderstand here:
I'm not talking about you guys. I'm talking about this manwha. Everything in the written parts implies a very american context, and the art shows a Korean context. Then that "Hyung" snakes its way in the written part, once, and nothing else. It adds to the incoherence, I don't like incoherence. If anything, GLEN looks like a transfer student in this story but everything else still looks out of place.
I'm happy(?) That you guys knows koreans with american names in real life but it has nothing to do with what I'm saying. I live in France you know, the ethnic diversity here has nothing to envy from yours and if I wanted to engage a debate about real life shit, I wouldn't link it in any ways with a manga I've read on a website where people answer without even understanding what you're talking about.

I think it’s because the author it Korean so the art looks like that. The names and places could be for an aesthetic purpose. I wasn’t bragging about our diversity or anything, I just wanted to point out that for me it was normal, and I didn’t think much of it. Doesn’t mean I don’t understand your confusion.

Ah sorry my answer wasn't to your comment only but all the comments above. Like I said, it's incoherent and incoherences make me uncomfortable.
I don't understand why y'all are going wild about your life when I talk about THIS story's context, it's off topic and doesn't explain anything.
Back to the main topic, to me, this looks like one more fantasy from the editors who think we readers are too stupid to enjoy a story that happens in a set up different from ours, and I hate it, really. I mean, we also have comics in our countries in which we can relate to the context/characters, they are written this way and if we feel more at ease like that we'll read them.
Seriously, I abhor incoherences. It can totally ruin the experience for me. And I deeply envy people who aren't bothered by this, in the end it's just me making things complicated for myself but that's how it is, I love logic.
Aren't you guys going to say something to Yohan??? The poor baby bear has literally been a flower pot in this chapter xD
