I remember when I was still reading Vampire Knights years ago; I was a 9th grader, supposedly studying for national exams but end up spending time every friday after school to read the update and when it finally came into conclusion I was happy but mostly sad. Not just because Kaname ended up sacrificing himself for the betterment of both humans and vampires but because of the people whom he left behind: Yuuki and Zero. Though the finale gave us a glimpse of what became of their future, I still want to see with my own eyes the smile on Zero's face when he finally be together with the person whom he love so much and have a child together with her (imagine the look on his face! I'm a sucker for Zero #TeamZero ).
Thank you for Hino-sensei for making this sequel, you give this (not that)old soul a good rest and also many thanks to the scanlators team whom without them we won't be able to read this beautiful manga. I can only pray for everyone's health and happiness so that I could see the end of this sequel before I myself turn into dust.
