In season 1 I think? Yijun got an audition for a role which he thought was his last chance to finally become an actor. Hyun wasn’t suppose to renew his contract with the shitty agency when it was ending and when the CEO found out, he used his connections so that Yijun wouldn’t get the role because he knew Yijun and Hyun were friends.
Yijun broke down and decided to quit acting with that theater performance to be his last. CEO blackmailed Hyun that he would continue to sabotage Yijun’s career so poor Hyun felt so guilty he renewed his contract with shitty agency.
thank God a renowned director saw Yijun’s theater performance and loved him, that is why he was given the lead role in his film now.
But the movie isn’t out yet and Yijun isn’t famous yet so I guess that’s why Hyun can’t do anything.
