I think men and women are thinking differently about sex. Men can consume sex like a drink, for women there is usually much more involved. So men can see sex apart from love.

I think there are more men that separate sex and love than women, or at least they are more open about it since they get judged way less, but its not really man vs woman thing, its more to the individual person.
