You may be untrained and you may definitely need to catch a break or falter, but fainting is so uncommon-

I think this is one of the only times it makes sense for the fl to faint. Think about it, the ghost is a swordmaster who was supposed to be the head of the family and the first to find the legendary sword and she's just a failing student that all the teachers ignore. Although she was supposed to train to be a knight, she was strong and failed the course. She is strong in fight only because of the ghost possessing her, and even then it's not her strength but the ghosts strength...

I'm not saying they aren't extremely uncommon, but it's actually hard to directly faint without feeling some light headedness or near blackouts
And if someone recognises those then they could actually prevent fainting by taking a rest quickly or sitting down and catching a breath

I'm not only referring to this particular fight, but also the sparring sesh with her brother
The brother was serious about it, yes, but not enough to cause harm to his own sister to the point that she would exert so much that she'll end up fainting
Unless she's got low blood pressure or something, the trope is a darn overused one and lacks originality

It doesn't matter who she fights with, because the fact is that the ghost that possessing her is much stronger than her and and if he uses only a small amount of his power, it will be a serious strain on her body. In the first fight he was very excited to use the sword again and didn't control his strength

And that's why she collapsed. The second time she collapsed because he used much more power and both time fainted because she IS NOT a swordmaster like him. The difference between their strengths is like the difference between a mouse and an elephant.

I know we all are just tired of the cliche of fainting after a minor fight or injury, but I still feel like this is one of the few time where fainting after the fight is acceptable and legitimate (￣∇￣")

Well Sayuri bullied that teacher too and even used her parents wealth and connections for some horrible stuff, so yes it is understandable she is hated most teachers are scared of her though, only the blonde one is doing some shit, also when there's someone who worse you will obviously focus on them since Shiraishi was even being bullied by her. She was basically reigning in that school since her dad paid for more than half of it. If she had been kinder I'm sure the teachers could've done something, not like it's their job to educated someone's child lol. They're just trying to keep their minimum wage job without having a bad resume.

Still I agree with you they should've done something, emotionally I agree with you, but since I experienced it myself IRL where teachers even feared to call the parents of those annoying kids in private school since the parents would always be like "No my kid is the best, the sweetest, most kindest"...etc, basically spoiling them rotten, and what can a teacher do in that instance other than simply keep their job? Since I've experienced it with kids who really do some horrible stuff, I was even used as a scapegoat one so I get, why hate on one person more than the other especially since I was always trying to calm things down between them, and when I left it was a b?mb to say the least, oh well, deserved.
