That was a really good backstory. But you'd think with how rough his upbringing was he'd be more nice to someone who was also living in the gutter like he was at the beginning. I get that his experiences shaped who he was as a person, but he had no reason to be such an abusive asshole (and rapist) to kim dan in the early chapters. Still, I'm looking forward to see him grow and be a decent person now.
