Like, the thing I'll forever remember about this story is the art, I really loved it, every panel was exceptionally well drawn!!! That's a pity that the plot is a bit lacking, in the end I don't think they have a stable relationship, they can't help to keep a lot inside their chest... also, the black haired one needs to see a therapist. A good one. He needed it when he was eight and he needs it even more now. He truly behaves like a psychopath and a lot of things he did were not okay. I personally don't understand how the... pinkhead... fell in love with him but well, in a few days I won't even remember this plot, so...

Accha April 15, 2020 3:28 pm

Okay so.... that was weird. It started in the worst way possible: the wolf was blackmailing the fox. But then, suddenly he "is interested in the fox" and he is sorry he blackmailed him... which is absolutely okay, but I think the author could have shown us why he started thinking that way (I mean, he abruptly changed his mind so I doubted his feelings until the end... ) also... the other wolf, in the beginning he looks like he'll be the villain of the story (because he wanted to be the alpha wolf) but in the end he just... helps everyone? Lol okay? I mean I appreciated that thank you very much...? Also that talk about the grandfather... was totally forgotten. The asshole brother was forgotten... the wolf's past was... wasn't even developed. I think this could have been VERY interesting but there are too much plot holes, instead of doing the beach trip extras I would have loved to see more plot development tbh

I really loved the whole concept of this story, since the beginning I was so engrossed with it that I read everything within a day!! I personally find the ending very satisfying.
Speaking about the parents of the MCs, to be honest the one whose behaviour I found most frustrating, although she didn't hit her children, was Jinsol's mum. I mean, after the divorce she told her ex husband that she would have taken care of her children, but then the two stayed with their father. I don't really like how she was depicted, she perfectly knew that her children were being hit and mistreated by their father and she was just like "if you want to come with me that's okay". No that's not okay, what if one of them died? What if the father forced them to stay there and they couldn't escape? You can't just say to your children something like that. Maybe I am narrow minded, but I truly hated her behaviour.
Speaking about people I couldn't understand, Han was one of them. His relationship with Saegye was ruined, they didn't speak anymore and I don't think he really minded that. But then as soon as he has a problem he goes to Saegye and asks him to give up on his everyday life just because of his problem. I perfectly understand that he was cornered in a difficult situation but in the end he just tried to take advantage of Saegye.
Overall I really enjoyed this story so I can say I'm satisfied with it (▰˘◡˘▰)

I mean there is some sort of mystery in background that could have been interesting but the story was so rushed, they fell in love so randomly, the MC discovered that his brother was dead so randomly, the other couple was forgotten so randomly... I mean, human emotions were also very dull. You discover your father literally let your brother drink some kind of poison (which made your brother so weak and was the cause of his death) and you are just like "yeah okay but he is my father" ???????? Yes he tried to make ammend by eating the poisoned grapes, but well... I don't think this could be easily forgotten personally. Also you discover your brother's death and you are like "oh, well... that's a pity" I don't think the author displayed very well emotions tbh... ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍

Reading this story was so so so hyping, and, just like other users said, this truly was a rollercoaster. God I was so curious about what would have been the ending of this story, also the plot twists were truly ingenious. Personally I didn't like some elements that appeared in the last chapters,,,
1) the two backstabbers, I'm not saying they didn't deserve happiness, but I truly can't understand how would they betray everyone without even trying to understand first WHY the bartender was becoming blind (and how they could have solved this problem without backstabbing everyone). I mean the backstabbing was truly necessary? I don't think so. I don't like how their happy ending it's just like that, like they didn't do anything wrong.
2) I read lots of very interesting comments about the ending, some users explained why James didn't kill Rugal and I can totally understand their reasoning (and the author's as well) but still I was really mad when James says "I didn't feel the need to kill him" WELL ACTUALLY I CAN FIND IT FOR YOU, I mean Rugal killed Angel and Samantha, both of them were family to both of the mcs... I don't really think he deserved to survive, and I'm pretty sure James thinks that only because he doesn't know that Rugal made him kill Angel :D
3) I would have loved to see a bit more about Rugal's son, I would really have loved to see a sort of "redemption arc" about him, or at least something more than a few scenes...
Nevertheless I really loved this story which made me fell in love completely with the protagonists
(ALSO I LOVED, I L O V E D the love story between Dio and Brett that was )
(Also pt.2: lucciola best boy)

I really enjoyed reading this story, the plot is indeed quite interesting and pretty different from the mainstream shounen ai/yaoi... it's honestly refreshing!!! I have to say this author is quite good!
But I have a few questions
1) why the elder brother (Ran/Lan) was being poisoned by the Zhen? I mean he was a trainer too so I'm pretty sure he knew how to handle the "birds", also the Zhen said he was being careful not to bite him...
2) why did Ran/Lan give away the Zhen to the... general... (?) even if he decided that the next owner would have been his own brother?
If this was explained in the story I think I missed it sorry ( ̄へ ̄)

I literally dropped this series when it was being serialized on lezhin like... three years ago? Maybe four...? Well, I did it because this was so boring and frustrating. From chapter 1 to chapter... 30? All they do is having (abusive) sex. But I guess that's okay because the uke was like "yeah, no prob, he is hurting me but that's fine I'm happy just like this." That's exactly what they call "abusive relationship". But this is way worse. Because this is boring. I was literally hoping the main characters would just die and give me some interesting plot twist, but unfortunately the author decided that their relationship was perfectly fine and that they deserved an happy ending, oooooookay. The seme is just a selfish asshole, trust issues my ass. The uke fell in love with his ""master"" when he literally treated him like shit 24/7. What a wonderful love story that being said the ending of the long haired butler was so depressing, who gave them the rights to make him forget everything about the one who died? Also let me just say that they didn't solve anything, the bad guys weren't defeated and they didn't even find a cure for that poison that killed only the royal bloods... I mean.... what was the point of this story then...? Just letting us see the two protagonists having sex? Wow. Extraordinary.

    Your review had me chuckling! I dropped this a while ago but read it to the end bc quarantine....
    Anyway, you may have missed that the seme saved the uke's life when he was a child...so the uke felt indebted to him. Also the seme's personality deteriorated because he was poisoned and almost turned into a brutish monster completely, though he also felt betrayed by his servants for the actual poisoning. It's bc of that sickness that he is so rough with the uke when they meet years later. Not trying to make excuses for abuse, just stating the context btw. The uke just takes it all and somehow heals the seme and helps him to regain his humanity so he is able to treat the uke more lovingly. But you are right the mc is bland, the uke didn't have much development but I do like the mystery of his being a ticking time bomb. The other couple is much more interesting, though not as deeply explored as I'd like.

    Yeah I understand that the uke was saved by the seme, but I don't think that's a valid reason to fell in love with someone, I mean: you don't know them, you don't know their personality, you don't know what kind of person they are. I can understand the fact that the uke felt indebted, and that's okay (more or less... Although killing zeros was literally the seme's job... But I can understand the feeling of "gratitude" the uke is feeling) that's perfectly reasonable. But I don't think it's related to love, what I'm trying to say is that if he maybe had been saved by the pinkhead now he would have been in love with him? That's pretty depressing, it could have been anyone. I can understand that the uke lived a pretty awful life since his parents died, but I think it's not "healthy" to cope with it by developing feelings for the one who saved him (also 1 the seme just saved him, he didn't even say something to the uke that could have been the starting point to develop a relationship 2 the seme didn't even remember it) I always hoped the two protagonists could develop through the story some sort of relationship, but I didn't see it, I just saw the seme being an asshole (and yeah, he was corrupted okay, but I don't think he raped every servant inside his mansion just because that reason. I personally think he's just cruel, crueler with the uke.) And the uke having almost no personality, that was just sad. Also I totally agree with you, the other couple was way more cute and interesting, it could have been developed a lot better, but I liked it way more than the main couple.

    I don't know if you are new to yaoi but people fall in love for being saved as well as for little kindnesses. It is the most common reason-4-love trope after childhood friends imho. I still think seme was cruel because he was part zero---he was a much better man before those physical/mental/emotional changes kicked in after being poisoned. As for the rape...it happened so much I wondered if the uke signed up for that as a servant like if the possibility of sex with the master was standard even if the master only played with one or two favorites? This uke may have been picked bc he was so masochistic and submissive ---just a thought. This story is not worth re reading but I am glad I finished it. I'd like to see the author's work 5 years from now to see improvement on character development.

    Lmao no don't worry, I am an hardcore fan of yaoi and BL , I think I read like >1000 yaoi lmao, and I very well know that this is a very common trope, but this story was SO infuriating, like I said before I just hated so much the MCs I hoped they would die somewhere along this story. I am judging it not by the "yaoi standards" but using the "common standards", I read a lot of interesting yaoi and shounen-ai, which depicted very well a lot of different relationships, cute ones, twisted ones... but, to me, this story can't even compare to them. About the uke, I don't think he signed up for sex but I just deduce that he was okay with it because it was the only way to get attentions from his master ((depressing)). As you said this is not worth a re-read.

    Chapter 70.1 had the author explain it was their first webtoon they made and was unsure but still NDE it because they wanted to.

Accha March 31, 2020 9:26 am

LMAO this story is so boring I don't even know how could I manage to read it until the end. Have you ever heard of "porn without plot" tag on AO3? well. That's it. There is almost no plot in 62 chapters, all we can see are the protagonists having sex, the protagonists having sex, the protagonists having sex, oh, and also the bad guy of this ""story""... having sex with another character... truly touching, right? There is no relationship between the characters: they just have sex and then suddenly they are madly in love with each other, the bad guy doesn't have a reason to be the bad guy, and in the end, although he tried to kill two people well, nobody cares at all! Gr8 1 star is way much more this ""story"" deserves lol

    So just because someone put effort into something should I like it? I'm glad the author did her/his best and that there are people who like it, but I have a different opinion, which is that this story is boring, and I have the right to express it.
    If you like it fine, just know that:
    1) I don't have to like it because I have critical thinking and I can form my own opinion;
    2) I expressed my opinion politely and without offending the author, unlike you who literally told me that I have to die;
    3) again, do you think you're a better person than me for wishing me death? If you think so, not only do you have bad taste in webcomics, you also are a horrible person.

I really thought this had a good plot until chapter three, but then everything became disappointing, the kitsune guy turned out to be just rude, selfish and an asshole, first he hits the protagonist without letting him explain the situation, then he tries to force him/herself on him under the pretext of "being drunken and in love with humans" and in the end he also steals the necklace that was protecting the protagonist. I can't help to hate him, it doesn't even look like he feels sorry when the protagonist was almost being killed by the curse. Also the protagonist suddenly became stupid, in the beginning he was able to stand for himself, them he just lets the kitsune guy take his necklace without even trying to explain the reason behind why he has it. This isn't romantic at all, their relationship isn't a relationship at all. Moreover this is so disappointing because I truly believe the plot could have been very interesting if the author made a little effort.

...but there are so much things I didn't understand how did the former lover died? Because I thought it was an accident but then that woman said that she had killed him (and then the photographer killed her...) and I don't understand the relationship between the two girls?? That was so sick, the redhead was so cruel with the blonde one...

    erza March 20, 2019 7:14 pm

    the women killed his former lover and made it look like accident .The photographer was also in love with the former lover, so when he found out the truth the the girl killed him(former lover) ,he killed the girl and made it look like sucide.And as for the two girl the red hair girl is just a jealous bitch who love to see people get dumbed .but I believe the same way in the middle she started to like the blond girl or maybe just wanted to repay for sin so she helped her at the end

    for the two girl i think the red head liked her since the beginning! she played with her with the help of the guy! like that the blond girl will trust only her! now she has her in the plam of her hand! after, she like her but in her weird way! That's what i understand here!
