i don't hate jaekyung because he is the only interesting thing about this manhwa. yes, he is a massive jerk, but sometimes he is entertaining and i am interested in seeing how his character develops. and reading the new season, it's evident that the author is trying to show dan's life was so much better with jaekyung.
and in regards to jaekyung, i don't think he is beyond redemption when it comes to the world of BL. i think he is toxic and has a lot of issues he needs to address but he isn't like some other semes who are psychopathic/sociopathic, i can't imagine him ever hurting an animal and he showed us a different side to him when he talked to dan's grandma, defended dan in english, was actually nice when drunk etc. that is not to say the things he did to dan are okay, but clearly he has potential to be better.

I think I'm the only one who like KD and his life story more than jk. For me I kinda get bored with jk. I like seeing desperate characters maybe that's why. I wish there was more about kd sufferings about his daily life struggles of being poor.

i love semes who look pretty and ukes who look like they'd be your typical seme. this is one of the first works i saw that had this as a plot twist. and ofc i love pretty semes who are sly! nice to re-read.

in regards to the MC, i don't care much that he is jealous of taesan, but i just can't empathise with him being a spineless doormat for junwoo... like covering up his one night stands, getting jealous because he's bullying and directing his attention to taesan and instead of being like "damn i have awful taste", he hates taesan instead. don't get what he sees in junwoo at all, doesn't help that i don't personally find the guy physically hot, and doesn't seem like MC would ever have the guts to confess (bro knows he doesn't have a chance probs). i just find him pathetic and there isn't rly anything interesting about him like his design reminds me of several other MCs... i guess what's unique about this story is taesan would typically be the protagonist and MC would be the smarmy, resentful side character.
i'm reading because i'm excited to see him be even more pissed off by junwoo and taesan and i love how the ML looks... and the concept of the MC being pathetically obsessed with junwoo while being annoyed at a perfectly hot guy who actually gives a shit about him is entertaining.
