i kinda get this as a dark fantasy but the mob does not appeal to me at all, although i recognise they're somewhat better looking than the ones you'll see in other stories. the brown hair coworker is kinda cute tho

THE GASP I LET OUT WHEN IT SUNK IN THAT THE BOSS ALREADY MET DAJEONG AGAIN BEFORE HIS FIXATION WITH HYUK BEGAN. UGHHHHHHHHHHH when i skimmed through the raws, i assumed dajeong appeared after he opened his business but wow, dude was right there and beefed himself up for you but still made hyuk his target. he seems to act really caring towards dajeong in the raws... idk man, the semes i hate the most are disloyal ones. i need to avoid this for a while for my sanity... actually i wish i could pretend the side stories don't exist but i still want to look at the boss, my bad...

i actually like dark characters like the boss and he was legit the only character i rly cared abt. I HATE INSEO and tak and sanho's side stories were actually torturous to even try get through. boss was perfect yandere material (i love yanderes and HE HAD POTENTIAL) but now it feels like the author has turned him into your same ol' red flag jerk (think people like jaekyung...). like idk man, even if they get together and the author says the boss was obsessed with dajeong all along, it's so fucking weird because dajeong was a literal child and he looked grown WHEN HE CHOKED HIM and he legit assaulted hyuk in his sleep!!!! and i'm meant to root for him with dajeong?!

ISTG HIS CONNIVING, SLY APPEARANCE WAS NOT MEANT FOR THIS!!!!!! and no offence but dajeong looks even more pathetic than DG from BJ alex. but i'll admit i'm more pathetic for wanting to read this bc i genuinely like boss' character design!!! istg i almost wish the author would start a new work completely because no manhwa has pissed me off as much as this one, i don't enjoy a single couple in it. but also no disrespect to them, i know they have the right to tell the stories they want to tell. and meh ig i don't blame dajeong... thank you the author for more boss but no thank you for another cursed couple.

But I read the synopsis and saw ppl talking about it on Twitter… reminds me of sadistic beauty bc the protagonist seems like an asshole like Minho and I think the story will make him suffer…

10th of December

after haeil and pado slept together, haeil bumped into an asshole from their middle school days and started talking shit about how haeil and pado were a gay couple. flashbacks seem to show that haeil was verbally taunted by their classmates because of it and apparently haeil and pado were caught kissing (idk if the guy was making this up or if it legit happened). but because of this jerk, haeil plans to completely avoid pado so that rumours about him being gay won't ruin his future... pado called him but he didn't pick up and that's where season 1 ends. i genuinely feel bad for pado. haeil was the one who pushed him away first and broke his heart (presumably bc haeil was trying to protect pado) and then haeil comes back into his life and tries to get all close with him again, only to plan to ghost him after they spent the night and morning together. i just know this would crush pado. it's sad when i saw comments in the past about how pado is a cold jerk but lets remember that this guy dreamed of marrying haeil since he was a lil kid and even now we can see how he holds the biggest soft spot for haeil but he became ice cold after haeil left him and when they met again, it's clear pado was trying to guard his heart so he won't be hurt again!!!
