Duchess and ML were engaged when they were kids but it got broken off at some point. He was in love with her up until she became a tyrant and became hell bent on wanting to kill her. He’s a “womanizer” bc Duchess forced him to take on that image. Uhhhh, I think OGFL has her own man so she never loved the ML but liked his face.
Time skip or smth / duchess restored the treasury but her assets were all burned and then she married the ML.

Yeah. That's true. But the main problem is precisely because of the rut and Noah's manifestation, and subsequent marking, and pregnancy. So I guess for you wanting to skip past that scene to get to the rest of the story kinda doesn't make sense. Plus, I want to see what the dynamics is like, given that Ian's pheromones (faultiness, quirkiness, repulsiveness) is all about. This is what is causing all the subsequent problems for Noah. If we had just left the story at Noah's giving back his inhibitor injector then end of story. But the pheromones now play a really big factor. And plus, this is yaoi Omegaverse, so what can you expect??? Plus, more sexy time. =)
I personally don't see the beginning chapters with all the sex is necessary but I definitely want to see the flashbacks (their relationship) and especially this scenario, since, again it is catapult to their (what their) relationship is like now (afterwards).

When the FL first met him in this life, she talked about how he’s familiar and how she normally feels that way as it isn’t the first time she’s encountered familiar faces in her past lives. I guess it’s hinted or implied he may be reincarnated as well? Though I don’t think he remembers yet, but maybe he would later- which would add up his age the same as she is.

Blah blah, defending or excusing authors who insert rape into a story are too common and so distasteful. It’s disheartening to find out what happened to the women and mc. It’s so disappointing his parents didn’t even fight back and try to help him. Unfortunately, it’s a sad reality of what could happen in the past because of the power of men and the lack of rational thinking.
