I just started reading the novel :(((( wanted to see the characters but than I found out there is no chapters T^T does the donghua follow the novel? cuz I'm too lazy to read... should I just read the novel or watch the donghua first?
novel first definitely!! The donghua has finished its first season (not sure if there will be a second season - can only hope) but because of censoring etc it can't be BL (yet somehow the strong homoeroticism does remain) and while it is well done, it barely covers half the novel so it's better to watch it after reading.
