So, yeah I am pretty confident that the author implies that they will become a couple eventually, and hopefully we will get to read how :P

Well Im guessing that the new character will be a rival of Kirara for Ken? Because he seems to be an uke-like. And I am thinking that maybe (maybe) he will go after Ken but eventually will fall in love with the older brother after seeing him (he may think that the older brother is more of his type) and after knowing that Ken is in love with Kirara. Haha. But these are all my hypothesis as of now.
