It just made me sick. I am horrified for her. She was just a kid, only a year older than her son when she was forced to get married for survival. Just because she was biologically able to have a baby doesn't mean she wasn't still a child herself. By the time she would have been mature enough to understand her son needed her, he was already past the age of depending on her. She had taught him Not to need her without even meaning to. Her husband didn't do them any favors by pushing her and his son to "fulfill the family duties ". Although it looks like he doesn't know any better since that's how he was raised as well. This was the perfect example of how cycles of trauma begin/continue and how hard it is to break the patterns in relationships

This poor dude. He stayed as far away from "proper women" as possible, but Ingrid chased him down and trapped him into a marriage he definitely didn't want, especially after the trauma obviously leftover from his previous 2 marriages. He tried to get Clean so he wouldn't have anymore misunderstandings with his wife only to have his petty ass sister step in, blackmail him, force him to use again, and purposely cause strife. Now he's going through withdrawals with his less than supportive new wife there to witness . Maybe Ingrid will step up and help him get through it, but I doubt it

Not only is she too dumb to realize that Daisy marrying up means that now her prospects rise, she's also too GD petty and short sited to see that any stain on her sisters' reputation will extend to her too. That's how family reputations work. If she thought a decent marriage was hard as a poor girl, she really wouldn't have stood a chance as a poor girl with a ruined sister

You have to think about the fact she was actually a fan of Abel's adult self but happens to know the trauma he suffered as a child. If you were able to take steps to ensure someone wouldn't needlessly suffer, wouldn't you do so? Not saying she didn't go "ridiculous fangirl", but she's Not a pedo. She's saving both the father and the son, even if she didn't mean to.
I guess the old adage applies: There is no Hatred as deep as one that started as Love.
I really want her to realize Carsein is the Best Boy, but we don't pick who we fall in love with. None of the characters are the same as in the previous timeline.
(Personally I'm a big fan of her father. Daddy Monique got me like...Rawrrr )
