That just leaves the tantrum throwing imbecile called the King to make one foolish decision after another. He gift wrapped the heir to throne as a hostage to a hostile foreign nation, beat his other son almost to death for daring to look into evidence of betrayal, and now all the advisors are too scared to point out the obvious.
His father killed his mother so he could move the new queen into her position. His father is the one who pushed him aside for the younger prince. His father instigated all of it
I guess the father didn't like that his wife using his brain....according to his behavior with the current queen.
So probably the uncle's plan was when his sister's kid(the prince) dies, the king will divorce or stop seeing the queen since she is heirless n the uncle can have all the time of her life to console his sister. （/TДT)/
The prince, the hidden daughter, the dead sister, and even the crippled knight. They are all being controlled and manipulated by scheming lowlife Royalty/Nobility. They are each being forced into choices they might not otherwise have made. The real Villains in this are her disgusting father and the Royals.
While it's wrong, at least she's going to be able to escape being the king's hidden sex slave. Sleeping with the prince is the only way for both of them to escape the trap that's been set for them from the beginning.
