I just finished reading ch 33 and I have read spoilers about the prince's reasoning for killing her family.. well it could be understandable... but in ch 33 he almost killed her just because he got caught. I just hope he will repent in the future...

It's not like she's doing this for fun though. She's not targeting the weakest ML, Eclis seems to be stronger than the ML I've seen so far, she's going for the one who's least likely to kill her. Can you blame her for wanting to survive? The Eckart brothers are crazy and way too dangerous for her to be around, it's not a game for her it's a matter of life and death, Whenever the brothers are around their affection meter fluctuates so much it gives me a stomach ache, and I'm not even the one in that situation lol

Penelope knows that eklis is the hardest route. Eklis on the ather hand would want to kill penelope at the much end of the story. Eklis is not the weakest one rather the hardest one. He is not some cute innocent angel Penelope needs to protect forever. Her cowering in fear over the other MLs is her sign of being rational. If you think that her ' manipulating' eklis is the worst it's wrong she need to survive.

He actually does, clearly as any typical ML he has a lot of trauma... so that is why he acts and does the shit he did. It seems to me the first queen was an asshole, and before the second queen died she also wasn’t warm. Basically blocking himself off from hurt.
oh me at first. though, since the original host of the MC's body was a real bitch, i did cut him some slack for being assholish towards her, but i thought he was a real dick for how he treated his daughter. but, by this point in the story, he's getting real better in terms of behaviour towards MC and his daughter, and from the spoilers that i've read, his past trauma really does explain a lot of his actions (not saying they justify them). like it doesn't feel like those poorly pasted "oh tee hee male lead has trauma so it's all okay!!" type of characters you know
