i completely agree. especially since the kid is literally a minor like ppl are trying to say he might be a senior (18) but how they portrayed it with the whole summer vacation thing it seemed like he wouldāve been looking at another year of hs. even tho japanās consent age is different to the US itās still really concerning how the manga portrayed a man (old enough to go into clubs/drink) is dating a kid. everything just feels really groomy when the kid feels like he has to ātake responsibilityā for helping someone. like yeah thereās worse out there but the point still stands that it felt like the kid didnāt know any better..
