I mean it makes sense though. In BL you have the fujoshi fangirls who are pretty much self inserts for the readers and you have "every other girl" who turns out to be an 'antagonist'. BL has very poor representation of female characters. The leads in BL tend to be pretty rude to women who aren't obvious fans which would be people like the FL in reverse. If this was a BL and Octavia her current self instead of the "Eee I will have your babies for you!" sister she is inThe Noble King she would have been treated rudely by the main characters of the BL novel. We only feel they are assholes because it is her perspective and not the guy's. In the guy's perspective we always justify it normally with a lot of readers complaining to get the girl out of the scene/story.
