To what I read the spoiler from someone here in this comments, cliff actually marry reeze and then later reeze at that time it was controlled by the author and later was sent to monastry.
Later on cliff got married again to another woman who is amazing as Edith.
Did the author change the ending? I actually really don't like reeze tbh even thou she's not the same person but I don't like her.
Yes, the ending is different from the one in the novel. The author would still be in Reeze's body and OG Reeze would not exist. Cliff also would have become duke while Killeon and Edith went off to develop their own territory.
Not really sure how I feel yet on OG Reeze but I guess we'll find out more about her in the next one
