So to kind of sum up the first timeline, Cayena was VERY different in nature of her expressions, experiences, how she acted and so on. At this point in time, she was very laxed, and spoiled in a way, and she was OBSESSED over the ML, which is Kedrey. In the most recent chapter (will not, tell any contents that isn’t known) Kedrey mentions how he disliked Cayena for her obsessions over him, and how she kept touching him at the time, it became annoying to him, which is why he tried to distance himself. And around the first timeline, Kedrey was fond of FL, because she was “different” in a way than most noble ladies, which made him grow attached to her, and then sooner after, Kedrey and FL became a couple.
So to say, yes, ML and FL in first timeline did indeed love each other.

Respect the artist, and leave your criticism for when they ask you for it. This is something that they work hard in to provide for the people who DO appreciate it. there is nothing to say that he loved her first or even really knew about her. She was just a maid and they didn't seem to have any kind of a relationship. This particular author seems to like these kind of animalistic obsessive relationships. Collide was very similar in that you didnt know whether the ML actually loved the FL or just her pheromones. THis one also mirrors that theme where it is very ambiguous whether the MLs of either world truly love the FL or if its the spell binding them together. and I guess the theme around it is if it matters if they are both happy with each other?
