he turned back time but in their past life, theres no mention of the current empress. im just curious about the nobles that hated her in the past --- was the current empress part of them?
Not possible. IIRC, didn't they say the current empress died earlier, before the civil war initiated by the golden dragon? Moreover, that old dragon lady thinks of human consorts as the only single pillar that prevent dragons from losing their minds, so unless our FL had proven to be unquestionably harmful to the "good sense" of her black dragon sucessor (which she wasn't), then if anything the dragon empress would've seen her as a human to be cherished... Moreover IIRC, the human nobles that hated the FL did so because she wasn't a noble from birth, but the dragon empress is not even human so why would she care that much about a human consort's position within the human's hierarchy of noble titles, which apparently doesn't have anything to do whatsoever with dragons?
i'm still on chapter 25 but i felt so anxious on who's the ml that i checked the other chapters and comments here for spoilers and the sigh of relief i had when they said ethan is the ml. also, i dunno if i can just relate to dorothea but ignorance need to have its limits, does it not? if her brother starts caring about the relationship of dorothea and her father, and also what dorothea thinks, then he can approach her appropriately. idk im kinda annoyed at him. i'm of the belief that kindness without consideration for other ppl is bordering cruelty. like how u may have well intentions, and help other ppl but in the first place they didnt need any help? if u can make sense of that
I understand you so well. I felt the same when I started this. Why was his brother so oblivious to her hardships in the first life and I really hated how theon only married her for his own reason and never made her feel secure in their marriage. Tbh do not even blame fl for the treason, she suffered through hell and no one ever thought of helping her. That's why I didn't like how she took all the blame on herself. It's understandable that she made bad decisions but what about her mental health? No one ever showed her kindness or care obviously she'd have turned into a tyrant.
berger's death was lucifer's fault. lucifer ran or moved forward a bit when he saw the foot soldier that i guess he was kinda flirting with, get shot. nonetheless, he hesitated, instead of moving back or taking cover that made berger cover him. i wouldve preffered to see a chapter where lucifer suffers w the guilt for a bit honestly. i feel like lucifer's arc had the potential to be better than the rest by adding just a little more depth. and did he honestly fall for a man that looks like his twin? really, is that fr? why tf
i know its like implied that he loves her but i'm reallyyyy still questioning whether he truly loves her and its not just his perversions. i mean, how can u sniff out who's a natural at that or not? what if by chance she's just really mad at her fam and she doesnt actually f w s&m? just want the best for girly huhu. i know its still early on but i do wonder what direction the plot will head in. main obstacle is probably her family. cant blame girly for being violent sometimes bc if i had a fam like hers, i'd be blowing up my shit everyday.
xinlu's reappearance reminds me of a spoiler i read where they basically stated that ilay said to xinlu that if tay ends up dead, there'd be no body bc he'll eat him and then they can be together that way. i have not been the same since i read that and it loves rent-free in my mind. its just so disturbing.

i was under the impression that it was her house, and thats why he stood outside to be let in as if asking for the owner of the house's permission. but it was his???? he has a study and all
also he stayed the night and it seems like he's managing the affairs of the house as well. now i wonder what he wouldve done if rumiere didnt let him in
It just might be her house and he’s essentially also been living there. That’s how I understood it.
