I appreciate this manhwa so much because of how realistic it is.
Raymond haa manipulated people all of his life and he won't magically change because of Ian (he is getting there tho) so him being like this and trying to keep everything in control is very nice because its in character.
Also Raymond since he lost his parents has never lost anything ever again so even though he knows Ian can leave anytime he can't phantom the idea so he goes for the bird cage thing.
Now for Ian, he is also very well written because this is the first time in his life he is happy but he is not dumb, he knows this happiness is temporal and know that he saw that there's is another world apart from Raymond.
why do you keep reading something if you don't like any of the characters or even the story itself
