Not to mention she's only what? 8? And she's been treated that way her whole life, it's all she knows. In her mind abuse is the norm and fun is a sin. When a young child is raised like that there's no way she'll bounce back quickly. These things will probly haunt her for years. Even when she seems to get better she could easily be triggered and fall back into her current state. I mean look how easy it was for her to go from enjoying herself for like the first time ever, learning it's ok to be comfortable and happy to right back to how it was when she was living with her parents. It's a form of PTSD and it's not something she can over come, especially being so young, overnight. So by no means should ppl be sayin she should hurry up and bounce back n stuff. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if even when she's in her 20s she has the occasional nightmare (〜￣△￣)〜
