Thanks for the new chapters!! The story progress is slow. We are on chapter 61, and there's still no backbone of the story. Why the restraint on her dad? Who kill mom? And so on....
yeah they need to balance the fluff and the story progression, cuz all i see is fluff
why the restraint : because Rykell is a transcendent. see ep 37-38 for reference. in ep 53 (iirc) Rykell also explained that the convenant venant is a custom in the empire since the reign of 1st emperor.
who kill mom : Maybelle & Bellerophon will fight the killer in this season. Rykell also will save his daughter & disciple much later together with Khan (four of them are in a mission. Rykell & Khan making ruckus while Phon & Maybelle infiltrated the castle to "kidnap" a child. Maybelle managed to save the child but got separated with Phon. Aslan helped her to escape and distract the guard but the killer blocked Maybelle's way and they duel until Phon arrived and the fight escalated because now the killer wants both Maybelle & Phon to die for the exact same reason as Galatea's death)
