First of all unless one of you personally told the author about mangago, it’s probably not included in the lawsuit
Secondly the author is mostly upset with illegal translations into languages like Spanish and Vietnamese and illegal free manhwa sites in Korea!! Do you know how expensive/difficult it is to sue someone from another country, let alone a site run by “unknowns”!
And even if mangago did get sued or something THATS when they’ll take down the story not before because clearly y’all keep coming back regardless of the fact that you think we’ll “lose the site”

Imagine you’re in an writing class and you get a prompt for a story, a singular factor that all your classmates and your stories will have in common. But when the teacher goes to grade the papers she says some shit like “damn this paper is giving me the same vibes as that first paper I read! Damn that’s crazy!”
Guys ~_~ POTN or any story set in ancient/historical Korea is gonna give “the same vibes”, the characters can only look so many ways cuz it’s set in the same time period....these are completely different stories lmfao
It’s not limited in historical yaoi too.
Example, All adventure webtoons who has an OP MC or any undead = Solo Leveling
Point is, these people set a certain story, the one that impacted them most and use this as their reference. They will associate all stories that might have even the most minute similarities to it. It’s kind of like the nature of someone who’s new to reading and are still exploring the genre.
The more they read, the more they will realize no story is the same and every single story has its unique world building.

They’re dynamic has been consistently dubious from day 1! If you don’t like it, valid, if you’re hoping for some change by now? also valid!
