I believe it only temporary, that only my opinion even though I don't understand chinese.
I mean, the memory loss is like a relapse just like when they lost their parent, and this time happen because Haru have been thinking the time before he meet Ren so his mind just put that memory as a start.
Because I believe Haru will remember Ren immediately just not because His own will but Ren presence around him, and I think his body remember how he touch Ren even he still not aware of it.

I think Haru REALLY need to rethink about everything, I mean he still have something that he don't want to share with his own family and maybe this memory loss to is the side effect not just from falling down from that crossbridge but also from the previous accident, if I'm not wrong he still don't want to meet he psychiatrist to help his mental and mind. I hope Ren will force him to met the Sensei and settle everyhing down. And I hope there's new development on his relationship with Ren.

It's definitely a happy ending, go for it man
It makes you cry because it's such a good story and well presented. There're parts that ARE going to make you cry, rage, want to punch a fucking wall and feel angry-disgusted from the bottom of your stomach (the kind of anger-disgust that makes you want to puke). The main story has a happy ending, but it's not as clear cut as just being described as "happy", there're aspects that you are going to have to analyze yourself to see if you're happy or not. I'm going to tell you that Tatsuya is literally THE biggest piece of shit besides this other bitch that pops up and that is probably one of the biggest issues with the ending of the main story. The side story has a bittersweet ending (more bitter than sweet), but you'll want to read it regardless, it'll make you upset but it's worth it.
