When she said she couldn't play piano anymore and he was unhappy and she said 'you took everything from me like you wanted, why are you sad'... he really had no answer.. I loved that straightforward talking by her.
I don't buy the redemption of the emperor, he was written too sociopathic to be this person now who cherishes the ML.
But even if I wanted to let that go ( I don't) are we supposed to be comfortable with the ML's sister still married to the emperor, in a place of power, who treated the ML so cruelly and tried to kill him?
I just love how the assassin is drawn so much.. It's quirky and desperate and so interesting. This story really too such a sad dark turn... I'm going to keep the faith that it will end on a happy note, and the letter he's reading in the beginning is one she wrote after a long life together.
I like the humor and the set up.. And the characters, the MC's and the side's as well.
Really hope he doesn't run into Dad right now. He's still just a mess of anger and petulance. If Dan comes back for some reason on his own, I will feel so sad.
to the point of being cruel to someone who is not only his BFF, but someone he has been intimate with, then he's a weak minded coward. Even if he is calling himself one, it's not enough.. that doesn't sooth the pain he just caused. I want him to see what he just slapped away with that hand of his.. and suffer... a little... self reflect.. get some gnads... confront the gaslighter and explain to the best , sweetest person he knows.
This is way cuter than I thought it would be. And that scene in the office when Puppers felt sympathy and pat the wolf's leg was hilarious.
I REALLY need her to move on right now. He has the right to no accept a confession, but to ignore and walk by her like she doesn't exist is beyond rude and cruel.

after seeing their back story, she not only went into their relationship with eyes wide open, she actually gave up a year of school to try and 'entangle' him into her life. Unless there's a twist, my opinion is, he always cared about and appreciated her, like a friend. He felt obligated to go out with her, but he didn't mind because he did care about her. Perhaps he's never been in love, so didn't know what he would be missing and thought it was fine. And now, perhaps he believes she has moved on and in a romantic relationship he no longer has to fill that spot, but still cares about her and her place she made in his family. I find their story just sad and wasteful, but the conniving person is the FMC imo. Even she says she helped take care of his father to be close to her crush.
They explained pretty quickly why he left and why he's back with an assumed name. I didn't think there was a valid reason why he would leave without telling her why.. but I guess death is a good reason,:)
Yes, she did ask for it... and when you give 'it' to her, it will be your undoing.
I really like this story so much. I think it could make a cute drama if it was a little more complex and filled in.
Finally, the FL is realizing the kindness and patience and protection of her husband. I was tired of her still acting like a buffoon in front of him when they both knew she didn't have to. THEN, the awesome scene with the mother and father, I loved it.. I feel jubilant!

This totally looks like the long play to get with the MC. It's cute tho, EVEN tho he asked all kinds of personal questions of the MC , but won't answer one.
I just wonder what is the significance of that character dying? How does it affect this storyline? That his ex-fiancee is pregnant and they will assume it's the ML's?
Well, it seems like that is , ofc, Ian.. For whatever reason he is masquerading as someone else. Whatever the backstory he has, I feel annoyed. She was a good friend to him, a good person, and it's hard to appreciate he did her like that. I know he was just a kid tho. Also, even tho she sees him talking about attacking her group, he clearly saved her, so I am sure that was his intent. But this will clearly be the misunderstanding between them imo.. Awesome dark look on her at the end tho.
