When they tried to summon him to another realm they ended up killing him in the real world, the lion who summoned him got cursed because Lean was upset of making his mom suffer so the lion has to physically go to him to ask for forgiveness.
He resurrected the bird instead of reviving it and became much stronger than previously. The beasts shrank and became his pets.

Why the remaster? I mean there's nothing wrong with it but I thought the original was perfect, I loved the artwork, dialogue and story.
