Okay, I stopped at ch 10 I'm already frustrated with the FL, she seems very selfish. She wants to be a scriptwriter bit never did anything to put herself out there, hasn't participated in competitions, didn't go to college, and didn't even bother educating herself. Like I know she'll get good since that's the whole point but still it makes her career far-fetched and it's obv her ex is pushing her from behind the scenes and he still has feels for for her. Like she didn't really look back as to why their relationship got effed up in the first place and she didn't blame him but didn't let go either.
Idk I mean it's ch 10 and I'm already this frustrated with the FL idt I can go through the rest. It makes me feel sorry for the idol.
Like is the story development worth reading?

Hmm... Ik manhwas have their own way of depicting the novels and all, but the last 3 chapters were told so well and nicely in the novel that I feel kinda upset how fast they went through it because it was a huge turning point in Desir's life, the school and the whole country.
Novel: Only Kelt and his leader are the last ones standing in their team with two dead and 2 injured and Desir sends them to fight the worms while Desir and Adjest fight the mother. (Makes them look more badass imo)
The red team only arrives AFTER the mother is killed, since he sent a map of the right path to all the teams.
Desir suggests the raid and that welca(?) girl is against it but the red team's leader silently reproaches her since nobles can't and shouldn't openly support commoners. Once they start talking about the commander the blue moon leader suggests Desir over him and hands command to Desir, the the red team does as well. The whole commander scene was done in a serious manner because it showcased the tension in their beliefs in looking down on commoners and their pride as nobility.
Them putting aside their pride and openly following Desir's commna is a HUGE thing story wise that's why I'm a little upset how sugarcoated and fast they went through that dialog

Dungeon arc is from ch 95 - 110
New arc starts from ch 111 onwards

I didn't me to take u off from the webtoon
(⊙…⊙ )
I actually started reading the novel when the webtoon reached the dungeon arc because I wanted to read more details about it. Before that I was really in the webtoon and still am.
The novels turned webtoon always rearrange some aspects of the story to fit the panels and format of story telling but this is one of the few that's really keeping most of the key aspects of the story that's why I was kinda upset in this part because reading it it felt like a big moment but the wentton kinda flew over it.
It's a really good story imo so I don't mean to discourage readers from the webtoon or novel, just wanted to share insight on this part of it.

Well, the main reason i want to quit this story is simply because it have a novel, i don't usually like reading story that are based on a novel not because they are bad but because they often miss too much details, tone down stuffs and/or sometime go different way. Imo if an adaptation can't follow the main source properly, it should be a new story instead.

Let me tell you sum... Because you seem to be new. Majority of the stories you are reading now are based off of novels. Most Korean manwha are based off of a novel. No, all of it is based off a novel unless it’s a Korean webtoon. I looked on your profile and saw you are reading “Ebony” and “I am a child of this house” they both have novels. So you might as well drop them too if it matters so much that they don’t/do have novels.

I feel like she has become narrow minded in a way. She doesn't see how the men around her have changed and still disregards them as misogynists, when they have changed and yes it is limited to her for now but that's where she is supposed to come in and broaden their minds that women are just as valuable, especially after he told her dad the story of how women were the original bearers of magic.
She also went wrong in demonstrating her authority, she wanted to show off her magic instead of showing human characteristics that would help the princesses unite and gave them the impression that "imitating" magic was the only way to gain value in mens' eyes

If you want to read the novel, I suggest reading it from the beginning, although some things are changed, like scenarios or flip phones ^^. You get a better insight at the characters' interactions. If anything they have a lot MORE moments in the novel than they've had in some of these chapters and are more straight forward in their feelings
