She has the backing of the empress so she think she can do anything. She tried to seduce the ML but he only got eyes for our FL. Tried to rape him but failed. I don't think she was punished for what she did. I don't remember why.
FL: is a workaholic. She basically became the ML's tranquilizer. She cares for ML deeply but kept thinking about the previous timeline so she kept pushing her feelings away. She participated in the empress selection's contest and pretty much slayed it. She poured tea on her date for insulting the ML.
