EVERYTHING SHE SAID is everything i thought when i saw the flashback. I have the same opinion she did and I'm relieved she felt this way. She knew he loved her but she also knew he didn't love her the most in the world or else he would have fought to keep her. In the end just as she said his fear is what paralyzed him from doing things to keep those precious around him close. He doesn't even love himself so he can't open his heart fully to others. the most horrifying aspect is i/we thought Maya had changed and matured being with Nemu but NO his emotionally manipulative/abuser behavior present in the first two or so volumes was just DORMANT and sprang to life the MOMENT he felt any sort of blame or accusation towards himself. all his terrible behavior in the first two volumes raping Nemu, emotionally manipulating him, "graciously" forgiving him when Nemu had to beg to get him back. I feel so triggered because bits and pieces of it floated through the past volumes but we all hoped they were now happy and growing together. Maya not saying I love you - which bothered me but now it's clear it's because he would lose some sense of control in the relationship as the "losing party" if he was vulnerable with his feelings, he was more at ease not saying it because he retained the emotional control in their relationship. him going out and getting gigs/socializing in a materialistic circle where people fawned over him and stroked his ego, fanning the flames feeding his ego and keeping him satisfied emotionally with his life. I always ALWAYS had a sense of foreboding EVERYTIME this series update with trepidation HOPING that nothing would happen, that Maya wouldn't cheat, etc, and trying to ignore all the red flags. it's only a matter of time, before he lies again, before he cheats, before he starts living this lavish lifestyle with Ruka up with all the socialites and disregards Nemu, takes him for granted and maybe loses interest and breaks his heart. I feel like I was duped and I'm now seeing the light. It will take VOLUMES of Maya proving he's changed before I can forgive him. I really can't right now. I wish I could BE in this story and yell all of this at Maya and tell Nemu so he can open his eyes and see what's really going on. They're headed for destruction we've been watching this story slowing moving towards this inevitable car crash and it's horrifying and truly pains my heart I feel like this is happening to me. The only thing I want right now is for them to break up and be independent and for Maya to realize his wrongs and I mean IN FULL like someone needs to set him straight. Nemu needs a life where he finds people that love him and treat him with respect and if they end up together again it will only be when Maya has TRULY CHANGED.

you know... I can't see Maya the same after this chapter. I am beyond livid with how he treats Nemu.. after all the bullshit arguments he has even after they make up he is STILL MANIPULATING NEMU saying I'll still be working with Ruka will you be jealous? EVEN AFTER THE ARGUMENT HE'S STILL PINNING THE BLAME ON NEMU. like oh it's going to be a problem that you can't control your jealousy. FUCK you Maya. you didn't grow up at all did you. he's always been entitled and spoiled because he's hot and people give him what he wants so he thinks he can treat Nemu like this and get away with it. just see him in the earlier chapters at the bar being consoled for his moping and the girl who goes to have sex with him. that's the kind of life he was already leading in high school. SAD THING IS HE PRETTY MUCH DID GET AWAY WITH IT with poor Nemu VALIDATING his behavior saying he looks cooler now diverting the topic away from the BREACH OF TRUST and onto smaller subjects during their talk when NEMU GOES TO SEE MAYA LIKE NO BOY HE COMES GROVELING TO YOU. YOU NEED TO TALK ABOUT HOW HE LIED TO YOU NEMU VALUE YOURSELF YOU BEAUTIFUL MUFFIN. DON'T GO GROVELING ASKING HIM IF IT WAS YOUR TONE THAT MADE HIM ANGRY. THIS IS ABOUT THE FACT THAT HE LIED TO YOU AND NEVER INTENDED TO TELL YOU. HIM LYING NOW IS A GATEWAY FOR HIM TO LIE IN THE FUTURE AND TAKE YOU FOR GRANTED AND MAYBE MAKE BAD CHOICES BASED ON THAT. the way Nemu was weak with his argument and speaking in a way to placate Maya like oh did i upset you with my feelings made it easier for Maya to come clean BECAUSE HE KNEW Nemu was caving. I bet you he wouldn't even have admitted he was angry because he didn't think he'd get caught but he said it because he could see Nemu was already forgiving him. the whole conversation went Maya's way and Nemu let it happen. I'm so sad for Nemu and wish someone could be there for him and give him advice on this because this is SO unhealthy. this is going down a bad path and we're seeing this with Nemu's foreboding words. Maya bridges are burned I'm watching you if you make the wrong move i'm BEYOND DONE I WILL BURN THIS HOUSE TO THE GROUND

I wish Kusaka would let in his seme and tell him his concerns and worries. The way things are going the break up will actually happen.

"Even though I was the one who misunderstood him, I calmed down by talking things over with him" If Chika ever allowed Hotaka to articulate his thoughts in conversation rather than conversing in a way that demanded answers and choices to be made they would be at a different place now. Chika never asked Hotaka for his thoughts / opinions on matters of their relationship for all faucets - he only asked answers to questions he already assumed the worst on / Hotaka would not be ready to answer/ he didn't answer himself. In the end Chika's selfish way of conducting their relationship was his downfall.
