in the end.. i don't really have a problem with how it ended, just it was too complicated and everything happened at light speed and you never 100% know anyone's feelings while the story progresses.. the problem with both exes is that there was a hanging thread with both, a huge what if that's just dangling there. we get the closure (?) for both but it's just like we received choppy stories and both relationships ended prematurely - and also these back stories took up more time than the baker and uke were even together and while they were together it just started as a sex fling and gets more serious but while that whole story is going on there's also baggage on both ends with their exes SO IN THE END i guess from my long blurb i just want to say the execution of the story isn't in a way where you're going to be 100% invested in the couple (if at all i mean you had to spend most of it guessing who liked who) and i would have wanted the story progression made differently

No worries. You're not the only one who feels that way. Happy ending is one thing. But I feel no satisfaction from seeing them together. Because they barely grew as a couple? So I'm not sure if I'm supposed to feel happy they end up together eventhough they barely had any development? Why would I want to fight for them to be together when they were barely together in the first place. Like I don't see the meaning for them to get together. You're right, the story progression should have been made more differently so we knew which characters actually had proper enough development to be together.
I don't know I feel like the back stories couple seem better because they had more development and interaction. Are we supposed to be happy simply because the main characters got together? Eventhough the mangaka barely made the r/s worth anything in the first place?
