love these chapters but no shade but why weren’t these all just part of the main story lmfao. Ik everyone does it differently, but from a general perspective, side stories are meant to fill in gaps/provide extra fun or interesting tidbits… yknow be something on the SIDE, but this is just more main story, like this ain’t no silly side sex scenes this is whole ass character and relationship development that is PIVOTAL to the overall story

It’s definitely a slow burn, but tbh I don’t really mind if the romance is paced slower, part of me wants the rest of these fuck ass gods to have their eyes and ears opened to Osiris and his fuckassery and vote his ass of the island like he can’t keep getting away with this!!!!!! Anywho. Stories rarely come close to creating such a balanced flawed character like Seth. i think what makes his character interesting and what was highlighted at the end of season 1, is that atrocities do not warrant more atrocities. As difficult and heartbreaking as his past and ongoing experiences with SA are to read, I think the author does a great job at highlighting how this singular experience is what he contributed to inflicting upon thousands of his own people for hundreds of years. he’s both a victim and a villain, someone you feel immense sadness and empathy for while simultaneously acknowledging his reaction in the aftermath to fuck ass Osiris and Neph/Anubis was not excusable (as seen via the caravan)
And that’s what so many stories in romance and “toxic” BL fail to convey!!! his redemption is easy to follow and cheer for because we know he is (unfortunately) putting in the work to truly atone for his past crimes, unlike how so many other romance characters get off with a fuckin slap on the wrist.
also ngl I hate that Jared Leto looking fucker. nothing he says or contributes to the story can make me shake off his shady moves, his annoying presence, or the whole “ur my slave ^.^” bit. go die and do it by yesterday
