Also kind of refreshing. It feels like all yaoi mangas i've read follows this [they meet > dramatic conflict > sex in chapter 5] framework in one way or the other. Kudou had some stuff going on but they both went through the conflict naturally, without it being so dramatic as if it's the biggest deal and focal point of the whole story.
