I've never actually cried before while reading a manga, please my stomach hurts so much
Season 2 end implies we might get a season 3 so if we do I hope we meet Doha's birth dad? mom?? parent??? omega????
Got a bit boring after he started working as an adventurer, you would think it'd be the opposite but nope. It's just oodles and oodles of the most mind-numbing dialogue. I was honestly just skimming most of it, I was basically dying waiting for it to get to some kind of action. I'm not saying dialogue heavy stories can't be good but the premise needs to be enough to lock you in, this story is your basic ass salt and pepper isekai. 4/10 and that's only cause I liked it right up till he joined the guild.
Poor Beni f your brother he really gives no fs as long he gets what he wants in the end (︶︿︶)=凸
I decided to give this a chance because it's a Samk story but I genuinely don't like the characters, the art is a bit generic, and the story doesn't leave much to be desired. I wouldn't really recommend this but it's only at 20 chapters so it could still get better but here are my top 3 grievances.
- The whole running away thing that they're doing with the MC. Since when is it bad to not want to talk to somebody after they cheated on you. Or just avoiding interaction with your homophobic dad because you hope with time he'll accept you (and also he keeps throwing you out anyway). Why is that running away? It's called not bringing unnecessary stress into your life. But everybody phrases it like the MC is a coward and it's just such like a wtf thing to me.
- I know Minho is the new love interest so, why is he so skeevy?!! Maybe it's the translation but his actions don't paint it any better. He's so flip floppy, one chapter he's blushing at the mc and actually like he likes him, and in another he's letting the blonde asshole feel him up and mess around with his phone when he said he doesn't give af about him anymore. It's weird and annoying.
- And then the exes... Ten years is a long ass time so WHY TF ARE THEY STILL TRYING TO MESS WITH EACH OTHER????? It's just so weird to me even that one friend from the beginning met the MC after ten years and randomly invited him to his moms funeral, like they weren't even that close either. Why is Gi-Tae still trying to explain himself to someone he didn't even like that much (since he cheated) when he has a whole ass wife?! Blonde bitch is just a bitch so I guess I can understand that. But it's just so weird and not flowing well at all.
In conclusion, to me this story honestly reads more like a fanfiction, no one acts like this irl and maybe it's not trying to be realistic but the story could at least try to make it make a little more sense. These people are all grown ass adults with adult jobs and yet they act like high schoolers. Minho's "innocence" isn't cute it's weird that he still acts like he's in college after 10 years. The MC's interactions with Muyeong is literally just actual high school drama and it's not even fun to watch him put Muyeong in his place when you remember he's almost 30 if not older. And Gi-Tae is just weird for wanting to involve himself in this shit again after leaving the country and getting married.
This story only gets more confusing by the chapter.
I wished they just dropped a crapload of chapters the raws are literally at 824 rn we’re a little over halfway behind the freaking story
You know what he was trying to protect her I'll give him that but I do hope she still tells him off for sticking his nose where it doesn't belong. Or at the very least he'll man up and address the issue. Because Heli is high-key annoying.
And his reasoning doesn't even make sense because if you were so concerned about becoming a vassal country then you would have dealt with that and attacked or something when Hanu was taken over by the evil brother in volume 1. Make it make sense this is stupid.
I can't even begin to understate how much I don't care for the romance in this story. A harem is already annoying enough but Hari of all people makes it 10 times worse she's cute but I can only see her as a child (yes I know she's an adult but the story hardly treats her as such).
