As a main character Tia really is a letdown, I expected more from someone who is currently living her second life...literally. I know she suffered trauma in her past life but at her current age I expected her mental fortitude to be stronger. From the moment Juien appeared to her first conversation with her, Tia is literally falling apart. Like shouldn't you have been prepared for this, now she's acting like it's some great shock that Juien appeared (yeah her appearance is early) but why are you letting it rattle you so much when you knew it was inevitable.
I've re-read this series so many times and I still love it my only problem is the author didn't give us any side stories

Xiaye and her husband Mu Yuchen are pretty solid throughout the story and they have one biological son and one adopted one whom they dote on just as much as their biological son. They later adopt a girl named Qi Wei'er who is the daughter of Mu Yuchen so-called ex-fiancee (since the engagement wasn't acknowledged on his part and it was one-sided as her family was the one pushing for the engagement) Xiaye and her half sister(Xi Xinyi) make peace later down in the story because Han Yifan takes their son away and moves to the states when Xinyi refuses to change her ways. So she goes to Xiaye to ask her to talk to Han Yifan so she can see her son, and Xi Xinyi's mother gets her retribution when Xiaye and Xinyi's father finally divorces her and she racks up a gambling debt and the debtors end up breaking her legs when she couldn't pay the bill. Their grandmother had a stroke and later dies when Xinyi and her mother and the grandmother starts biting each other and the grandmother later regrets her choices throughout her life) Mu Yuchen realizes that Han Yifan was slowly falling for Xiaye the more Xinyi's true colours are exposed so he waits until Han Yifan and Xinyi gets married before releasing the truth that Xinyi had frame Xiaye and continued to do so even after returning to the country. This love triangle is just a small part of the story, the real chunk of the story revolves around Mu Yuchen's cousin who betrayed and ended up dying, his aunt's affair and the father of her children and the impact it as on some characters especially Mu Yuchen's ex-fiancee Gu Lingsha and her family and the Qi family. I highly recommend you read the novel since I don't think the manhua will do justice to the story.
