I feel like she wanted a familiar who would be strong enough to kill her one day. The boy with the glasses was so in love with her that he would never hurt her, so the current main character seems more suitable for that.

I've learned many things through this manga. One of them was that through shaking out a towel a few times, it will get softer. EIther that's a secret life hack or just a dick joke again...
well terry cloth tends to get flattend in the washing machine, so that's about legit (if you don't use a dryer anyway ^^)
Like, don't use fabric softener for towels and kitchen cloth when using a dryer (else towels won't absorb as much water) or really really, at least shake out the wrinkles out of dress shirts and fabrics you hang up to dry...
