I, for example, lay down to watch stuff together with my family or friends and tend to fall asleep very fast, even without wanting to do so. I don't have time to undo my bra or even want to spent time with them without my bra, so I wear sports bras whenever I can. If you ever fell asleep with a wired bra, you know what pain feels like.
And in this case, I think he would take sport bras because they are more comfortable and support him in being lazy af, since he wouldn't need to take them off for that.
