The tonal shift is CRAZY. I'm not entirely sure what I feel about this or how it's even possible for a story to have this drastic of a tonal shift without having a little discomfort at the back of my brain. But I'm staying for Mokhwa. BEST BOI BEST MAN BEST WIFE. Words can't explain how much I adore him, a literal God amongst men ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ

I love gray-area stories like these. The typical 'revenge/redemption' story is coming together but as readers we're aware that the protagonists are the villains (yes, even the MC who was forced into this world, the original body still performed evil acts, even MC's plans rn are nefarious). The 'heroes' are being manipulated, brainwashed, as if their pain and resentment was not warranted. What happened with FL's twin was fucking tragic. The plot is so damn juicy. And most surprisingly, the transmigrated 'villain' mc is actually acting villainous (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

Is it just me or did they reveal the backstory way too fast? Also I really don't like 'reveals' done through dreams, it's really cheap and does a disservice to the deep story that's abound. Nevertheless, I'm still hooked and hoping that the two mcs get a good slowburn

I guess that's true as well. Our adorable mc has a lot we still don't know about. I just don't like the 'dream' thing ╥﹏╥
It's so overdone in plenty of stories. There's a million other ways to implement reveals, dreams are just an easy way out. Heck, even a 'vision' in the middle of a battle is much more interesting than a straight up dream. If they wanted to utilize it, they could've been more cryptic, leave a lot of things for us to guess and investigate, make it a 'journey' rather than teleporting from 'knowing none at all' into 'knowing the gist'. Although I'm hoping that I'm proven wrong, and that there's plenty of twists and turns other than what was revealed in this chap ┗( T﹏T )┛

You say that but we still know absolutely nothing about the blond dude backstory despite it being "revealed" it only left me even more confused and curious on who he is.
Also for the dream ig it makes it better if you think of it as a cutscene in games. like genshin for example we see a lot of cutscenes where the travler isn't present in to get relevent information. so maybe to make it make sense it presents itself as a dream

Mujin has always been more fucked up than Cho-ah. It's been made clear in the very first eps. In fact, the reason why Cho-ah became fucked up was BECAUSE of Mujin. I don't get why everyone is so easy to antagonize Cho-ah just because they're attracted to the pitiful seme. Immediately jumping to slutshaming without thinking about the context... It's giving misogyny (ironic since Cho-ah is a man, but the point still stands)
Why is the villain guy kinda hot?
