I forgot to add this comment last night but here's what I think:
The reason that the woman who looks strikingly similar to her calls her mom is because she's the first design of Dew. I remember seeing her first design somewhere in the old chapters where she was first acknowledged by her boss and other staff in her job as an artist in a game company (I'm forgetful, so some info might be wrong about her job). Now remember how she said, 'That day will come once the person who shouldn't exist blabla.' I think the reason she attacks Dew is because she wants to replace her as the original design of Dew and acquire the love of her designer (the mc).
Uhhh.... The plot is hard to predict; I just hope the MC won't dump her lover for a kid, lmao. Her lover isn't even being shown much unless it includes explicit scenes which could mean that she's not the end game. I've read the author's other works so I suppose I can assume that this can become a toxic gl story which I very hope not to include teacher x student romantic relationship, bruh.
